Mmmmm Cake

Yesterday we went cake tasting at Cakes by Ron. It was Mmmmm so good. First we talked a little about how big the cake needed to be, how many guests, what we are thinking about it looking like, etc…

As you can see in the backround of these next picutres, Ron makes some very beautiful cakes! We are thinking we will need around 5 tiers. We want at least 3 different flavors: Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate with Raspberry filling, and (my personal favorite) Vanilla Cocoanut!

Phrase of the Day from my trainer: “Okay 5 more”

5 MORE!!!!! I can’t do 5 more!!!! He’d quickly reply “yes you can” =)

Phew! Glad thats over! I’ll just have to do it all over again, tomorrow. I guess thats what happens when you have Big Goals.

In other wedding news, I’ve been working really hard on Bridesmaids dress. I hope to have that finalized by the end of the week. The truth is, the Bridesmaids will look stunning in anything they wear!

Back to Life, Back to Reality

Okay, it’s crunch time (and I mean that literally). As you can see from my cutesy little wedding ticker from theknot.com, we have 3 months, 2 weeks, & 3 days to go!!!!!

I started working with a personal trainer this month I went twice before the Hawaii & Colorado trips – and I’ve been twice so far this week with a third session planned for Friday. And boyyyyyy is he kicking my butt!! I love it!

The nice thing about having a trainer is – he makes me do WAY more exercises than I would on my own. I just wouldn’t push myself as hard as he does and I am so greatful for it. I know I am going to look my best, feel my best, & be my best on Our Special Day.

GOOD NEWS: My wonderful Mom(s) & Bridesmaids have started planning my Bridal Shower <3

It's going to be on March 6th That will be a great day. My first type of wedding celebration!

BUT what that forces me to do is start our registry- easier said than done. There is SO much to choose from! I'm thinking I don't know, do I really need a $350 Le Cruset roasting dish???? And where do I register???

(In case you're reading this and attending the Bridal Shower – forget the spatula – I'd rather have the lingerie.)

And what a year this will be!

I can’t even begin to absorb all the fabulous things 2010 has in store….

Obviously, what I am most excited about is marrying the man of my dreams <3. We are offically 133 days away from Our Big Day. I have a feeling 133 days is going to go by much quicker than I expect. However, 2010 is going to bring MANY wonderful memories. Here is a few things we have in store this year…

Hawaii – January
Beaver Creek, Colorado – January
Sun Valley, Idaho – March (with Stacy and Nick!!!)
Park City, Utah – March/April
My Bachelorette Party!!- =) – April??
THE WEDDING – May
THE HONEYMOON – June

I'd say that's a pretty good half a year =).

Last but not least… BLAIR AND ETHAN GOT ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
